Two shortcuts make the input bar do a lot more than send plain text: @ pulls real place context into your message, and / runs a command instead of sending one.

@ mentions

Type @ anywhere in the input box to open an autocomplete popup. Keep typing to filter the list, use the arrow keys or your mouse to highlight a result, and press Enter or click to insert it. Esc closes the popup without inserting anything. The popup mixes two kinds of match into one filtered list as you type:
Matches against every instance currently in the place (by name), so you can point at something without describing where it lives.
The chat transcript shows the short, readable @SpawnLocation token, but what’s actually sent to the model is the instance’s full path (e.g. Workspace.SpawnLocation) — so the agent can call get_properties or read_tree on the exact instance you meant, even if two instances in the place share a name.
@skill:name is not part of this popup — there’s no autocomplete for it. It’s a token you type by hand, expanded into the skill’s full content at send time the same way read_skill would pull it in mid-conversation. To actually search skills as you type, use the /skill slash command below instead. See Skills for what’s in each one.
You can mix an autocompleted mention with a hand-typed skill token in one message — @PlayerController has a bug, see @skill:roblox-datastore for the retry pattern — and each resolves independently.

Slash commands

Type / to open the same kind of filtered popup, this time listing every command. Press Enter to run the highlighted one, or finish typing the full command yourself.
Commands and mentions both work in the same message — /goal Fix all DataStore retries @skill:roblox-datastore pins a goal and pulls in a skill in one line.
